LOW-LEVEL CORRUPTION

It begins with a swell of desire to bring peace to the world around him no matter the cost. He will become very active in hunting down threats and begin to close himself off from those closest to him, keeping them at arm's length. A mask will go up as he brushes off his own well-being for the sake of helping others even while keeping his distance from them. This can take the form of fighting off and killing potential threats in the dark of the night or even leaving someone a gift that he feels they might need when they aren't looking.

MID-LEVEL CORRUPTION

In this stage, his distance becomes outright isolation and practically vanishes from people's life in order to devote himself fully to bring peace to the world. Itachi stops taking care of himself in various ways, hardly stopping to care for any injuries or eat and sleep. He becomes more reckless with his own life, taking bigger risks and refusing to retreat when it's clear that he's beyond his own limitations. For those that press into his life too stubbornly, he may resort to ocular jutsus that trap them inside of an illusion and may potentially cause mental damage just in order to get away. (OOC permission will be needed for this.)

HIGH-LEVEL CORRUPTION

Itachi's hold on the life he has will start to decay as he begins to care less for his own sake, his skin flaking off like leaves on a dying tree much the way it happened when the Edo Tensei ended. He will care nothing for his own life, risking everything he has for those he cares for most. This is evident by the way he ends his isolation and gathers close to his loved ones, as if preparing to say his final goodbye. He may attempt to over-insert himself into the lives and choices of his family and friends, perhaps even taking certain choices out of their hands entirely and carrying the heavy burden himself. Deterioration of his physical form continues until he becomes brittle to the touch, as if he'll completely break under the lightest force.

BEASTHOOD

His physical exterior will burst apart in a brilliant white light that temporarily blinds anyone looking at him, leaving behind a large dark shadowy crow. Solid physical items will pass through him harmlessly should the intention behind the act be harmful. Bright red eyes can absorb every detail around him, while blood drips from his feathers and he radiates a deep determination to protect whatever peace that can be found amidst the chaos, even should that mean walking a path to their own destruction for the betterment of others. Those who are touched by this shadowy figure will feel inspired to fight for those who are most precious to them. This can come in the form of taking up arms and marching in to face down a foe, or simply taking a stand for an injustice they see. He will seek out anyone who feels as though they are stuck between two impossibly hard choices to give them the courage and will to take that step. Itachi can be talked down in this form, so long as that person's determination and will is proven to be just as strong as his own - allowing him to feel as though the world and everything he holds dear will be safe with these people around.
