[The video feature flicks on but it's completely black and is silent for a minute. Perhaps it was done on accident. But wait, no, that's not the case. There's a man's voice, unidentifiable except to those who know him. Either way, he sounds unamused.]

A world where you collect animals and let them do the fighting for you. Seems cruel. Or perhaps you just don't see it that way. Using creatures to collect ridiculous badges. What good will it do you when you leave this place? If you leave this world.

[Itachi pauses, silence fills the moment.]

How many of you still continue your own physical training as you level up your creatures? Would you be capable of taking down your enemy without the aide of your Pokemon? Would you be satisfied if you couldn't? [Yes, Sasuke. Those last two questions were specifically aimed towards you.]

It also appears that the dead walk among us. [Does he know about the other shinobi or simply referring to himself -- hard to tell. Some might not even recognize him by voice alone. So finally he shifts it around to reveal his face. Itachi doesn't have the hitae-ai sitting upon his forehead like usual and his surroundings are hard to pinpoint. The maroon cloak he's wearing doesn't help as it covers the rest of his clothes.]

[He sighs as if this is all a big bother or an annoyance.] I suppose it's only polite to introduce myself. My name is Uchiha Itachi.

You're right, it is. Here I was worried about being cruel to Pokemon by having them battle, I wonder what these people do to them or make them do. Not to mention how horrible it must feel being separated from a friend like that, for the trainer and the Pokemon.

What was I supposed to talk about? How I've no idea about how I got here and that I'm a new arrival? Ask for information I could get myself?

This world is soft compared to mine. [His is a world that is constantly at war.] What sort of training do you do? Do you not make any attempts to return home?

[Definitely an Itachi thing. He's been doing it for years -- even from his own family.]

Clearly you don't know Sasuke very well. Once he became aware of my presence in this world ignoring him would not be an option. He would not let anything or anyone stop him in his pursuit.

That was covered in the guide, wasn't it? [He skimmed it briefly, taking a mental note to read it fully later. At least the parts he doesn't already know.]

Ah, she's really motherly...so, between the two of us, we're doing okay!

You're collecting quite the family here! I don't think anyone else has nearly that much, that I know of.

That works, too! As a trainer, you should know that you'll need badges in order to use moves like "Fly" and "Surf", which make travel easier - which is one reason a lot of people try to get them. Your pokemon may be able to swim or fly, but they can't take you along until they learn the move via HM, and if you aren't a breeder you need the badge for it to work.

[ SHRUG. She's never been one for questioning the mechanics of games - at least, not in her current state. ]

[ Honey's the type to tromp around with all six of his party out and about from their balls - which is good, since he keeps ditching his travel party to go off on side quests at random. ]

Maaaaa...you're right, but family doesn't seem to come here a lot. At least, most of the people I speak to have friends here, but not that.

[ He misses his own family, actually. ]

Do you consider switching occupations? [It's unlikely that Itachi will have a traveling party but he also won't go around with his Pokemon out.]

We're lucky that way. [And by lucky he really means unlucky. Two out of three of them are dead back home.]

[soft compared to Steve's world too] Strength, agility, and stamina training. Everyone says you can't find a way home, that you just one day leave, so doesn't seem much reason to waste time fighting it.

Everyone as in the residents of this world that seem to adjust to us so easily or others like us from various worlds?

As in the people from all the various worlds. Some will be here for weeks, some years, seems no rhyme or reason.

[Okay yeah a new focus of attention.]

[This guy... maybe it's because Yusuke's been on the receiving end of one too many Hannibal Lectures since he's been on as a Spirit Detective, but the speech this Uchiha guy delivers sets his teeth on edge a little. That attitude of being above it all, the stupid lighting (or lack thereof)... Yusuke thought he'd ditched these annoying enigmatic types when he found himself unceremoniously dumped in Happy Firehorse Land, but it looks there's really no gettin' away from 'em. He thinks that's more of a pity for them than it is for him.

So here, Itachi, have one more hero-type all up on your screen, responding to you in what would sound like a pretty chill, conversational voice, were it not for that underlining hardness in his tone. Looks like you touched a bit of a nerve!]

Y'know, it must get old, being the one asking all the questions. So here's one for you: do you actually care about these things, or are you just trying to get under people's skin and make yourself look good?

[That name... Give her a moment, OH!]

[Even though Itachi knows this information won't help back in their world, it might come in handy here.]

I don't know why he was there all I know is that he was. Sasuke helped defeat Kabuto and I showed him the truth. There was no time to hear what he would do next.

That is a good reason to get badges. [He'll have to look into it. And probably get a bigger Pokemon.]

There are some that feel the need to test it, I'm sure.

[Nope, there's just no escaping those types of people, Yusuke. Not even here in happy funtimes world.]

[For his part, Itachi doesn't respond to the hardness in this stranger's voice. Just calmly sits there as if he's not bothered by anything at all.]

When did I say I cared? A shinobi will use anything and everything in their arsenal, even animals. All I wanted was your opinions on the matter.
